Why Coronado should be at the top of your list

Why Coronado should be at the top of your list

Coronado was Panama's first established resort community and has since then been known as the central hub of Panama's Pacific coast. Recognized as one of the best places in the world, this beach region has offered a taste of the good life for both Panamanians and expats while still being close to Panama City. However, it has not only been the interest of retirees but as well as an increasing number of young people and families. One of Coronado's appeals is its close distance to great amenities and the infrastructure that goes with the natural beauty embracing it. This includes beautiful Coronado properties, grocery stores, shopping malls, medical centers, banks, international schools, buzzing restaurants, nightlife and of course the beach. Easy access to the national highways, Panama City and international airports is also a huge plus. The proximity to such amenities exhibits an important convenience serving as a huge incentive for more young families to make Coronado their home. There is also no surprise when folks from U.S, Canada and Europe have decided to migrate to Coronado and open their businesses right in town or by the beach. Many compare it to Boca Raton or Sarasota, Florida but at a fraction of the cost.

Coronado has an interesting history behind it. Back in the 1940s, Coronado was home to a handful of dreamy ranches spread along the Pacific. Because of its picture-perfect location and its climate characteristic as the least rainy venue in Panama, multiple pirates and smugglers chose this spot as their main trade route during the colonial period.
