Lugo is a city and municipality in Spain, and it is the the capital of the municipality, located in the northwest of Galicia.
The city of Roman origin, was founded in the year 25 by Paulo C. Fabius Maximus and is the oldest in Galicia. Numerous Roman remains, many of them preserved in the Provincial Museum, are testimony to their early history, especially its unique Roman wall in the world that has retained its perimeter and a World Heritage Site in 2000.

They also emphasize its festivals, like Arde Lucus, recalling past Roman Iron Age city, and San Froilan, held between 4 and 12 October, and attracts more than one million visitors.
