This Hacienda has been in existence since the 1600. It is located in the province of Guanacaste and has an area of 4,461 hectares, around 11,000 acres.

It is considered one of the largest ranches in the country of a single owner.

The ranch is ideal for livestock, agriculture and has great potential for tourism projects. Its history of land use has been the cultivation of cocoa, sugar cane and fattening cattle.

It has improved pastures in brizantha and toledo as well as native trees and secondary forest in some areas. It has rivers and springs that cross it. The topography is mostly flat (inclined). Due to its geographical location it has several micro climates, and mostly it has a cool climate with an average temperature of 26 °C a year due to its proximity to the Tenorio and Miravalles volcanoes.

It enjoys a habitat for endangered species and wildlife such as deer and pumas along others who use the biological corridors that are in the property.

Additionally, one of the main pluses of this property is the water concessions that legally has with the government institution MINAET for 1,000 liters per second of the Corobicí River, and concessions from other sources that together total 1,132 liters per second, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. It should be noted that it obtains irrigation throughout the year.

It has about 2,000 heads of fattening cattle, Nelore breed and about 80 criollos horses.

It has 2 large warehouses, facilities, one administration house, a guest house, employee houses, agricultural machinery (tractors, equipment for round bales, weed,) a Nissan Frontier pick up, a motorcycle, an Isuzu cattle truck, among other necessary implements. From the main road to the main facilities (the stable, livestock pens, the main house and installations) is a distance of 1km on a gravel road.

The property has access to public services. The nearest comunitity is Rio Chiquito about 7 km drive. The nearest bigger city is Cañas located 21 km away.

The major city, Liberia, is about 40 minutes away, where there is a massive commercial and tourist activity and the main airport Daniel Oduber International Airport has earned the reputation of being the preferred airport for tourists, especially for access to all the attractions and destinations that surround it. Hospitals and other amenities are also available in Liberia.
